Who Runs Uzbekistan Wanderer
Uzbekistan Wanderer was founded in July 2026 by Toofan Singh, who edits the site. He decides what we cover, checks each guide before it is published, and handles corrections.
How We Research Our Guides
Every guide on Uzbekistan Wanderer follows the same editorial process:
- Official sources first. We cross-check visas, train schedules, entrance fees and opening hours against official sources — the e-visa portal (e-visa.gov.uz), Uzbekistan Railways (railway.uz), UNESCO listings, and government travel advisories.
- Dated fact-checks. Where prices or rules change often, we mark when the fact was last verified — e.g. “(last checked: July 2026)” — so you know how fresh the information is.
- No pretend experiences. We don’t invent first-person stories. When we haven’t verified something on the ground, we say so and point you to the official source.
- Our own graphics. Every cover image, map and chart on the site is designed and drawn by us, and charts carry their data sources underneath.
- Corrections. Spotted something out of date? Email us via the Contact page and we’ll verify and fix it.
